Gioacchino Melice first moved to Upstate NY when he was 8 years old from the Italian island of Sicily. Gio has always had a passion for men’s fitness health and style. In 2017, Gioacchino put it all on the line when he made the decision to leave his job where he had been working for close to 10 years to pursue his passion and open his own barber shop. Gio’s Barber Shop dream started with a clear vision; to provide authentic classic barbering with an emphasis on the ability to deliver modern haircuts. Italian Americans take pride in their work, and never compromise the quality of their service.
